Panic, Anxiety, Fear & Phobia

A minimal level of apprehension or anxiety is normal in our day to day life. When anxiety becomes continuous and heightened on most days, however, it can paralyze us and render us dysfunctional and even disabled. Panic, General and Social Anxiety, Excessive Fear and Phobia are a group of disorders with both physical, psychological and emotional causes. Fortunately, these disorders are treatable conditions.

It is estimated that 5-10% of people experience and suffer from some disabling form of anxiety-related disorders in a lifetime. Evaluation and treatment of anxiety and related disorders is at times complicated by its many causes. Life styles and medical conditions can provoke similar anxiety or phobia symptoms. Without appropriate medical treatment, fear, phobia, panic, and anxiety disorders can result in an individual’s disability or dependence on addictive prescription drugs.
